Voice Caddie SS10 Smart Swing Stick Review
The SS10 is a weighted swing trainer with a digital handle that shows swing speed, carry and tempo, and syncs with the SwingCaddie S app. With code BASSOLINO15 it drops from $149.99 to about $127.49.
What we like
- Digital handle shows real-time swing speed, with a carry distance mode
- Tracks backswing and downswing tempo
- Syncs free with the SwingCaddie S app to log best swings and daily goals
- Compact enough to use indoors and to keep in the bag for a warm-up
- Code BASSOLINO15 takes about $22.50 off the $149.99 list price
What to weigh
- A training stick is not a launch monitor; it does not read ball flight
- Speed gains vary by golfer and are not guaranteed
- Owner score of 4.3 out of 5 is lower than the brand's rangefinders, from a small sample of 29
- Full feedback needs the app and a phone or tablet

Quick answer
The Voice Caddie SS10 Smart Golf Swing Stick is a swing trainer with a digital display in the handle. It lists at $149.99, shows swing speed in real time, adds a carry distance mode and tracks backswing and downswing tempo. Use BASSOLINO15 for 15% off eligible purchases, about $22.50 off, or roughly $127.49.
Our verdict: it is a practical gift and a good winter or pre-round tool for golfers who want a measurable daily speed routine. It is not a substitute for a launch monitor, and gains are up to you.
How it works
The SS10 has a digital display handle that shows your swing speed on every rep. Voice Caddie lists a swing speed mode, a carry distance mode and a backswing and downswing tempo readout. Syncing over Bluetooth with the free SwingCaddie S app lets you track your fastest swings and best distances and set daily goals.
Owners on the store page highlight using it indoors during the off-season and as a pre-round warm-up kept in the bag. Treat those as owner opinions, not our test results.
Where it fits
If you already own a monitor, the stick adds a way to practice speed without hitting balls. If you do not, the SC300i and SC4 PRO tell you what the ball is doing. Our training aids guide compares other ways to build a routine.

What does the Voice Caddie SS10 measure?
Voice Caddie lists real-time swing speed, a carry distance mode and backswing and downswing tempo, shown on the digital display handle and in the SwingCaddie S app.
Does it need the app?
The handle gives instant feedback on its own, and the free SwingCaddie S app adds tracking of your best results and daily goals over Bluetooth.
Will the SS10 increase my swing speed?
It is built for focused speed and tempo practice. Results vary by golfer and routine, and some owners report gains, but we have not measured any, so treat it as a practice tool rather than a promise.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. The compact design lets you swing indoors, but clear space around you is still needed. Check ceiling height and surroundings before swinging at full speed.
Is it the same as a launch monitor?
No. The SS10 reads the stick's own motion, not a ball. For ball speed, launch angle and carry from real shots, see the Voice Caddie SC300i or SC4 PRO.
