Cool Relief's product page for SKU CRICEBAND was checked October 16, 2026. This brief addresses construction, included pieces, care and purchase checks; it does not assess medical or heat-illness claims.
Quick answer
The Cool Relief Refreezable Ice Bandana is a reusable wrap system: a soft cloth bandana, adjustable hook-and-loop straps and two reusable insert strips. Its practical distinction from a water-activated towel is that it uses freezer-stored inserts. Decide whether you have a place to freeze the inserts and whether this wrap’s shape suits you before buying. Our cooling accessory format guide compares its preparation and care with the Original CoolTowel without claiming a tested performance winner.
Cool Relief listed the item at $15.00 on October 16, 2026, under SKU CRICEBAND. The product page’s marketing includes medical and symptom-related uses; this guide does not assess those claims. It focuses on package contents, fit, care and current offer details.
What is included
The manufacturer’s listing describes one soft-cloth bandana and two reusable Flex-Ice pack strips. It calls the wrap one-size adjustable and shows hook-and-loop fastening. The same store sells a separate four-pack of replacement inserts, listed as SKU CRICEBANDICE at $9.99 when checked. That replacement item is a separate purchase, so confirm its model compatibility and final cart price before adding it.
The product page does not give a measured cooling duration, a full size range or a GolfTested fit result. The adjustable closure may help with positioning, but it does not prove a particular user’s fit or comfort. Check the dimensions or ask the seller if the wrap must fit a particular head or neck size.
Care and practical trade-offs
Cool Relief says to surface-wash the cloth with a damp cloth, avoid machine washing and keep the inserts in a freezer between uses. This setup can be inconvenient if you do not have freezer access before a round or a way to carry replacement inserts. A water-activated towel uses a different preparation and carry routine, so compare those requirements with your own course day.
Use this as an optional accessory. It does not replace carrying water, shade or rest breaks, and the brand’s health-related product claims are outside the scope of this buying brief. Follow the instructions included with the item you receive.
